Career Consulting
Help your teen find a direction — not just a program
“What do you want to be?” is a big question for a 15-year-old. We make it smaller and more practical: understanding who you are, exploring what is out there, and taking the next sensible step.
Who it’s for
- Students in Grades 9 to 12 who aren’t sure what they want to do
- Students choosing between several very different interests
- Teens weighing university, college, apprenticeship or a gap year
- Parents who want to support their teen’s choice without pushing
Problems we help solve
Sound familiar?
- “I have no idea what I want to do after high school.”
- “I like too many things — how do I choose?”
- “My parents want one thing, and I’m not sure I do.”
- “I don’t know what jobs even exist in this field.”
- “Should I take Grade 12 Physics or not?”
- “Is university the only good option?”

What age is best for career consulting?
Grades 9 and 10 are a great time, because course choices start to matter. But it is helpful at any stage of high school — including Grade 12 students reconsidering their plans.
Will you tell my child which career to choose?
No. We help students explore and make their own informed decisions. Our role is to ask good questions, share accurate information and help them plan.
Do you use personality or career tests?
We use guided reflection activities and may use reputable interest inventories as a starting point for conversation [CONFIRM tools]. No test can decide a career, so we treat results as ideas to explore.
Do you talk about apprenticeships and the trades?
Yes. Skilled trades and apprenticeships are excellent options for many students, and we include them alongside college, university and co-op pathways.
How involved are parents?
Parents join the first conversation and a summary meeting at the end. Sessions in between are mainly with the student, so they can think freely.
Our honest promise: we work hard to help every student build stronger skills, habits and applications. We cannot guarantee specific marks, admission to any program or career outcomes — those depend on many factors, including each student’s effort and each institution’s decisions.
